Stephen Beardsell
‘My main influences come from observations in nature, such as seeds and plants. I am interested in how they grow, evolve and exist,’ Stephen Beardsell
Stephen Beardsell is a graduate of Sunderland University and also achieved a masters’ degree in Glass. Beardsell’s sculptures feature natural subjects such as the human body, as well as poppies, bluebells, silver birches, fungi and the sea. Currently, he works in Sunderland University’s glass department and also as a designer in the National Glass Centre, Sunderland.
